Day Trip Itinerary
1 Day : Marrakech - Casablanca
You can be picked up from your hotel or riad bright and early for an easy 3-hour drive across the Gharb plains. Take a break at a rest stop along the way before heading to Casablanca. Upon reaching the sprawling metropolis, you will be met by an expert local guide who will join you in your vehicle and take you on a tour of Casablanca. First, you will be awed by the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque, with its towering 210-meter minaret. The Mosque, which was crafted by a French architect, was constructed over 6 years and incorporates Islamic architecture and Moroccan elements. As you draw closer, you will be astonished by its beauty and grandeur. Continue your journey to the Corniche of Casablanca at Ain Diab. Here, you will find plenty of trendy cafes, restaurants, clubs, and hotels. Take a relaxing stroll along the waterfront and relish a cup of refreshing mint tea. Afterwards, make your way to the Medina of Casablanca. Despite not being as ancient as the Medinas of Marrakech or Fes, an abundance of homes and labyrinthine streets can still be found in this area. We will begin our tour in Casablanca and visit the renowned Cathedral of Sacred Heart, a magnificent example of 1930s French colonial architecture. From there, we will make our way to the United Nations Place, with its stunning art deco buildings, and continue to the Arab League Square, home to the Palais de LA Justice. After that, we'll have the option of stopping at the iconic Rick’s Café for lunch, capturing the essence of the classic movie. Please let us know at the time of your booking if you would like to reserve a table. On your return journey from Casablanca, take the motorway for an easy 3 hour ride to Marrakech. Just before you pull away, make sure to drive past the luxurious residential area to make the most of your visit. Your full-day tour to Casablanca from Marrakech will finish up with a drop off at your accommodation or the closest place accessible by car to your riad.
